It's a laptop!

It came! It came!

My new laptop arrived a day early!

So far, I've had a chance to take it out of the box(es), look at it admiringly, pet it, talk quietly to it, and read the "Everything Mac" pamphlet that came in the box. Plugging it in, turning it on, and conforming it to my every whim will have to come later. Like tonight.

(And for those playing the home game, I went with the 13-inch. It was on sale. And it has a camera!)

Your uncle went with the 15 inch.

Something about a birthday yesterday! :)

Congratulations on your migration to the Mac side. Double :)

Thanks! The 15-inch was v. tempting, but I'm a sucker for the mail-in rebate, and anyway, buying it on Amazon mean no tax. So...13-inch it is!

You must be a Mac person, I take it?

Welcome to the 'mactop revolution'. The uncle, occasionally on sirius 85, is enjoying the 15" as posted, while the aunt boggled the minds of the high school sunday school class, with multi-media work on Galatians 2:1-10, on the 17"MBP along with the 'gloria' from State of Grace II as the closing hymn.

Did you learn NOTHING from the Apple IIGS debacle? Don't come crying to me when the only software you can find comes from Mr. Switzer (involuntary shudder).
